Planning Commission

The City of Sherwood Planning Commission consists of seven members appointed by the City Council for terms of four years. The Commission serves as the Hearing Authority for site plans of new or existing structures in the Old Town Overlay District, quasi-judicial actions not otherwise assigned to a Hearing Authority under the code, site plans greater than 40,000 square feet of floor area, parking or seating capacity, and subdivisions over 50 lots in size. The Sherwood Planning Commission generally meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P.M., however the 2nd Tuesday of the month may be scheduled periodically to meet work needs. The meetings are held in the Community Room located at the Sherwood Civic Building & Library, 22560 SW Pine Street, Sherwood.
